Who We Are

SenseIslam was created in 2026 to provide reliable local guidance in Portsmouth and surrounding areas for support for anyone exploring Islam or beginning their journey as a new Muslim and for Muslims who are in need of further guidance.

We aim to make learning Islam accessible, welcoming, and free from confusion or pressure.

Our team is made up of volunteers, mentors, and local students of knowledge who are passionate about sharing Islam in a respectful and clear way. We collaborate with local mosques, scholars, and community members to ensure accurate information is shared.

Our vision is to create a supportive community where new Muslims feel confident in their faith and those exploring Islam can ask questions safely, without judgment.

We operate as an independent, volunteer-led organisation that partners with mosques and community organisations when appropriate, while maintaining full legal, financial, and governance independence.

Our approach is decentralised: resources, guidance, and support are delivered through a central platform and made accessible across Portsmouth.
